AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Asmir Begovic, Steve Cook, Diego Rico and Lewis Cook have all been nominated for October's Player of the Month award.

It's been another unbeaten month for the Cherries, who recorded wins against both Coventry City and Bristol City, as well as draws with QPR, Watford, Cardiff City and Derby County.

Asmir Begovic has played every minute of the month, which saw him keep two clean sheets at Vitality Stadium.

Additionally, he pulled off some superb saves, most notably against Robins midfielder Tyreeq Bakinson and Ismaila Sarr of Watford, both of which were the club's moments of the match on social media in the two fixtures.

Steve Cook has been just as pivotal at the back and led by example.

His standout moment came just last weekend, with a superb goalline clearance from Lee Buchanan to prevent Derby re-taking the lead at Vitality Stadium. This was accompanied by solid displays against Cardiff City and Bristol City.

Diego Rico has featured in five of the six games in October and has been influential at both ends of the pitch.

He's come up with assists against both Coventry and Derby, providing the cross for Rodrigo Riquelme's equaliser on Saturday - and has also looked comfortable in his new left centre back role.

Finally, Lewis Cook has been a rock in the centre of midfield, playing 90 minutes in four of October's fixtures and impressing with his range of passing and combativeness in the fixtures.

He's also been nominated for Man of the Match for his contributions in the last two games against Bristol City and Reading.
