Mexico up next in World Cup for Lewis Cook's England under-20s

The Lewis Cook-captained England under-20s will take on Mexico in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

England have learned their quarter-final fate in the FIFA U-20 World Cup, with Mexico confirmed as their next opponents.

Mexico overcame ten-man Senegal in their last-16 match in Incheon to set up the match with the Three Lions, substitute Ronaldo Cisneros sniping in at the far post to win the match in the 89th minute.

On Wednesday Cook's team England to a 2-1 win over Costa Rica, with Ademola Lookman scoring both of his side's goals.

The quarter-final match will kick off at 12pm (GMT) in Cheonan with Italy or Zambia the winner's opponents in the semi-finals.
