Chris Mepham comes in for the injured Steve Cook in the Cherries' only change for the play-off semi-final second leg at Brentford.

Cook limped out of the 1-0 win in the first leg and was rated as 50-50 by head coach Jonathan Woodgate to make the return match in west London.

Mepham replaced the skipper - the armband being passed to 'keeper Asmir Begovic today - and put in an assured performance, and retains his place against his former club.

Midfielder Ben Pearson, also rated 50-50 for the match, is fit and starts at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Bournemouth know that a win or a draw against the dangerous Bees in the 12.30pm kick-off will book a place for the side in the play-off final at Wembley next weekend.

With restrictions being lifted, 4,000 Brentford fans will be in the stadium for Saturday's key match.
