Max Aarons joins the Cherries

We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Max Aarons on a long-term contract.

The 23-year-old joins on a permanent transfer from Norwich City having enjoyed a successful summer in which he won the 2023 Under-21 EURO tournament with England.

The full-back arrives with great experience having played in more than 200 league matches across his first five seasons in professional football.

The 23-year-old featured in all but one of the Canaries' league matches in the Championship last season, and has also played 70 times in the Premier League.

Neill Blake, AFC Bournemouth chief executive, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Max to the club.

"He’s a player who will be an excellent fit in our system, with physical attributes and technical ability that will benefit the team and our style of play.

"We’re looking forward to working with him and we have no doubt that Max is going to prove a great addition to the squad."
