AFC Bournemouth moved back into second place in the Championship following a 1-1 draw with Peterborough United at Vitality Stadium on Tuesday.

The Cherries leapfrogged Huddersfield Town and have three games in hand on the Terriers, the teams locked on 62 points.

Scott Parker’s team were forced to come from behind after Jack Marriott had drawn first blood for the Posh in the 30th minute.

Ryan Christie capped a driving run into the visitors’ 18-yard box by netting the Cherries’ equaliser seven minutes into the second half.

Parker’s team had a number of other presentable chances during a keenly-fought contest but were forced to settle for what could prove to be a valuable point.
