Dominic Solanke’s first-half double helped AFC Bournemouth maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

But the Cherries were unable to hold on to their 2-0 half-time lead as Blackpool hit back to earn a share of the spoils.

Solanke followed up his goalscoring exploits against Birmingham on Wednesday by netting a similar opener after just six minutes.

And he doubled their lead with a header from a cross from substitute Emi Marcondes in the 19th minute.

But Blackpool scored twice in the space of three second-half minutes with James Husband halving the arrears to spark the comeback.

Jerry Yates, Blackpool’s leading scorer as they won promotion from League One last season, made no mistake from the penalty spot after Zeno Ibsen Rossi had been judged to have fouled Keshi Anderson.

A superb save from Blackpool goalkeeper Chris Maxwell prevented Solanke’s header from giving the Cherries all three points in stoppage time.
