AFC Bournemouth's Michael Matthews Player of the Month nominees for March have been revealed, with voting now open for the award.

The Cherries secured their first away win of 2019 in March with the 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town, as well as unfortunately conceding with the last kick of the game in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United.

The first nominee is January recruit Chris Mepham, who has quickly adapted to Premier League life with a string of assured performances in all four games.

His centre-back partner is also a nominee - Nathan Ake like Mepham has had another solid month, also playing in all four games.

Ryan Fraser is also nominated, with the Scottish international impressing with a goal and an assist against Huddersfield as well as his usual work rate and intensity in the other three fixtures.

The final nomination is Joshua King, who produced some sublime moments in the month with a tireless performance against the Terriers as well as scoring twice against Newcastle, the second a superb finish.

The previous awards have gone to Fraser (August and September), David Brooks (October, December and January) and Jefferson Lerma (November).

You can cast your vote via the club's official Twitter feed, @afcbournemouth.

The winner will be announced ahead of the weekend's game against Burnley at Vitality Stadium.
