Loan watch: Cherries in FA Cup action

AFC Bournemouth had plenty of players out on loan this weekend, with players seeing success in both the Emirates FA Cup and in the Football League.

Here’s how the Cherries loan contingent got on this week:

Ryan Allsop

The stopper played the full 90 minutes in Blackpool's 3-1 home win against Oxford United. This win sees the Tangerines go fourth in the League One table, with a winning league run which has lasted since the opening fixture of the season.

Sam Surridge

After getting his first Football League goal in midweek, Surridge played 81 minutes in Yeovil's 2-1 loss against Grimsby Town. He was replaced by Rhys Browne.

Ollie Harfield

Harfield played the full 90 minutes for Poole Town as they beat Salisbury 2-0 in the Emirates FA Cup. This result sees the Dolphins through to the third qualifying round of the competition.

Mark Travers

Just like Harfield, Mark Travers played the full 90 minutes in a 2-0 Emirates FA Cup win. His Weymouth side hosted Chippenham Town and managed to get the win despite going down to 10 men.

Sam Matthews

Matthews played 75 minutes of Eastleigh's 2-2 draw with AFC Fylde. He was replaced by Craig McAllister with all the goals already having gone in.

Mihai Dobre

Dobre came on for Bury in the 66th minute this weekend, replacing Harry Bunn in a 0-0 draw against Plymouth Argyle.

Baily Cargill

It was a day to forget for Cargill's Fleetwood Town as they lost 4-1 to Portsmouth. Cargill came on in the 59th minute with the score at 2-1, but was unable to stop Jamal Lowe and former team mate Brett Pitman completing braces.

Ben Whitfield

Whitfield came on in the 81st minute of Port Vale's 1-1 draw with Forest Green Rovers, replacing Tyler Denton.

Callum Stanton

The young stopper played the full 90 minutes as Guernsey FC were beaten 3-1 by South Park, but for the second consecutive game, was named man of the match for the club.

The following players were either unused substitutes or not in their loan club's matchday squad: Max Gradel, Lewis Grabban, Matt Worthington, Joe Quigley and Jordan Lee.
