A behind-the-scenes documentary detailing Lewis Cook’s impressive return to action will be released on Monday.

The feature-length film follows Cook in the aftermath of his second serious knee injury and throughout his lengthy rehabilitation process.

Entitled ‘Relentless’, it’s a deeply personal and inspiring look at one of England’s top young midfielders and the work he’s done to return from double injury setback.

The filmmakers speak to Cook and the people closest to him, including his partner Loretta and members of the club’s medical team.

In the documentary, viewers will see the incredible work that goes into returning a player from a long-term injury, including the innovative methods to build strength, which involved the likes of virtual reality and a trip to the English National Ballet.

Cook suffered his knee injury in the trip to Preston North End in March 2021, spending seven months in rehabilitation before returning to play a pivotal role in the club’s promotion to the Premier League.

The film will be available to view on YouTube and afcbTV for free. Supporters can check out the trailer below.
