Jefferson Lerma has won the Michael Matthews Player of the Month for December.
The midfielder topped our poll on Twitter with 41% of the vote, beating off competition from Dominic Solanke, who picked up 33% of votes and Mark Travers with 24%.
The Colombian midfielder enjoyed a strong month, returning from suspension to prove his quality in Scott Parker's team, picking up Man of the Match after the wins against both QPR and Cardiff City.
Against the Bluebirds, Lerma's powerful effort, which took a deflection off defender Alex Smithies, saw the Cherries bag their third goal of the evening at Vitality Stadium as another big win was recorded.
In the coming days, Lerma will receive his award, which has been provided by competition sponsors, Michael Matthews.
