Jefferson Lerma has won the club’s Michael Matthews Player of the Month award for November.
The Colombian international impressed during his three performances throughout November, notably netting his first Cherries goal in the narrow defeat against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Lerma, who will miss the weekend’s game at Manchester City through suspension, was also one of the Cherries’ standout performers during the defeats against Manchester United and Arsenal.
In a supporter poll via the club’s official Twitter account, Lerma topped a list of nominees for the award with 42 percent of the vote. Ryan Fraser placed second with 36 percent, whilst Asmir Begovic was third with 14 percent.
Lerma will be presented with the award by sponsors Michael Matthews in the run up to the Cherries’ next home game against Huddersfield Town.
