AFC Bournemouth defender, Milos Kerkez, has been voted as the club's Player of the Month for August.

The Hungary international didn't miss a minute of Premier League action as Andoni Iraola's side drew with West Ham, before narrow defeats to Liverpool and Spurs followed shortly after.

In a close vote on Twitter, Kerkez topped the poll with 35.7%, fighting off competition from Antoine Semenyo (35.4%), Ryan Christie (17.6%) and Dominic Solanke (11.3%).

The left-back, who has been away representing his country over the last fortnight, picked up his Michael Matthews award at Vitality Stadium ahead of the game against Chelsea this weekend.

The independent jewellers, who have showrooms in Bournemouth and Fareham, are a Corporate Supporter and Supplier of the Cherries and recently renewed their partnership with the club

As a result, they'll continue to sponsor the Player of the Month award for another two seasons, while also attending special events at Vitality Stadium hosted by The Net

AFC Bournemouth would like to extend its thanks to Michael Matthews for their continued support of the award.
