The striker continued his blistering 2017 form into April, scoring four goals that included the late leveller at Anfield and the winner in the 1-0 victory at Sunderland.
Marc Pugh was second in the Twitter poll, recording 17% of the vote, with Artur Boruc (13%) and Charlie Daniels (5%) also on the shortlist.
There were 1,566 fans who voted in the poll to name a winner, with thanks going out to all who took part.
