Injury news: The latest on Wilson, Francis and Mings

Callum Wilson and Tyrone Mings smile on their way out to training.

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe believes that Callum Wilson and Tyrone Mings will be fit for Saturday’s game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Mings was an unused sub against Chelsea in midweek, while Wilson completed 90 minutes after suffering a minor hamstring injury.

Captain Simon Francis however, is a doubt for the game with the manager revealing he hasn’t trained this week.

"We’re still obviously nursing the long-term injuries," he said.

"We haven’t seen Simon Francis in training this week and we’ve got a few knocks from the Chelsea game.

"Tyrone Mings had a knock to his hip which isn’t as bad as first feared so he should be OK.

"As for Callum Wilson, it seems as though he has come through a minor hamstring injury OK. He came through the Chelsea game well so we’re hopeful he’ll be fine."
