AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola revealed that goalkeeper Neto will miss the Premier League game with Burnley.

He revealed the Cherries goalkeeper sustained an injury during training this week and faces a spell on the sideline.

Speaking to the media in his pre-match press conference, he said: “We are going to lose Neto, he’s been injured this week.

“He suffered an ankle injury a couple days ago and he’ll be out at least until the international break for sure. If all goes well, he’ll be back after the international break.”

Iraola later confirmed that Andrei Radu will start in goal in tomorrow's game at Vitality Stadium in Neto's absence.

The Cherries boss was asked about the status of midfielder Alex Scott, who returned from an injury absence in last weekend’s defeat to Wolves.

The 19-year-old will have a big role to play with Lewis Cook missing out through suspension and Tyler Adams remaining absent with injury.

Iraola confirmed that he’d come through his debut without concern: “He finished tired obviously, but he had good sensations.

“He’s a hungry player, young but when you talk to him, he understands the game, he understands the pressure and everything.

“For Alex Scott, it’s not ideal to come back from injury and make his debut in the Premier League and for us to demand so much from him, but that’s the situation we have. We will need him.”

Iraola confirmed that there are no further concerns for the Cherries, stating: “There are no other injuries.

“There are a few players with knocks but nothing big that will take them out of a game."
