Injury news: Latest on Kelly, Solanke, Senesi and more

AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola says that defender Lloyd Kelly “has a chance” of being in the squad for Saturday’s game with Everton.

Kelly’s last appearance for the Cherries came in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

Elsewhere Marcos Senesi will still be missing while Dominic Solanke has made good progress during the 17-day break without matches on his knee injury that he’s been playing through in recent weeks.

“Lloyd Kelly has started training with the group this week,” he said.

“It’s difficult for me to say today, if we have a place in the squad then he probably has a chance, but I think it depends on other situations.

“We have no issues with Dom, it’s a good moment for him personally. We have given him a bit of rest and time to recover and he has been doing very well this week. I 100% expect him to be involved.

“Elsewhere, Marcos continues to be out, he’s unable to train with the group still. Max Aarons is back with the group, Ryan Fredericks is out.

“Luis Sinisterra is out for some weeks, but I think he will be available before the end of the season.

“Then we have to check the ones who are right who arrive back from internationals today, we need to train tomorrow and see how they are.”
