Injury news: Kelly to return and latest on Zemura

AFC Bournemouth will have Lloyd Kelly back available for the game with Cardiff City at Vitality Stadium.

Head coach Scott Parker revealed after the QPR game that Kelly had tested positive for Covid-19, but after serving his isolation period in line with government protocols, the centre-back will be back in contention against the Bluebirds.

Apart from Kelly, the boss is hoping to have Junior Stanislas fit after his successful injury return at Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.

“Lloyd Kelly is back in the squad,” Parker said.

“He comes out of that isolation period and everyone else has come out of the game OK. We’ve had a few bumps and bruises but nothing more than that.

“Junior Stanislas had a bit of an issue with his shoulder after the game, he trained lightly so let’s see how he reacts tomorrow morning. I see him being OK for the game though.”

Parker also revealed that Jordan Zemura will be in the country for the next two games against Cardiff and Peterborough before flying to Africa for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Cameroon.
