Injury news: Kelly still absent from squad

AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola has revealed that Lloyd Kelly will still be absent through injury for the Emirates FA Cup tie against Leicester City.

The defender was missing from the narrow defeat to Manchester City due to injury and will continue a spell on the sidelines this week.

Elsewhere, Philip Billing will return after serving his three-match suspension following his red card against Nottingham Forest.

The boss has also not ruled out making changes due to the tight turnaround from the City game, which was a late kick-off on Saturday.

“We will see how the players feel today as we are training this evening,” he said.

“It’s not even two days from a very demanding game against Manchester City, understandably some of the players will be very tired.

“So after training, the decisions on the team will start from there as we need to make the right choices.

“In terms of bigger injuries, the players will be the same apart from Philip Billing, who we have available after the red card.

“Lloyd Kelly is missing and will continue to be missing this game and maybe more, we will see.”
