AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola has provided an injury update ahead of the FA Cup game with Swansea City.

The Cherries will welcome the Sky Bet Championship side to Vitality Stadium for the fourth round of the cup, the second time the two teams have gone head-to-head in a domestic cup this season.

Iraola revealed that Milos Kerkez could be available for the game, but they will definitely be missing Max Aarons, who is set for a spell on the sideline.

He said: "Max is obviously out, he has a muscle injury and he'll be out for some time.

"We will not recover Adam [Smith], so we will be thin. The only one who I think will try to train today, and knowing him he'll be in the squad, is Milos.

"He's really close and I think he's the only one with the chance to get involved, the rest are still the same."

When asked to expand on Kerkez's availability, Iraola admitted it is positive to have him close to a return.

"It's good news, he will train today and he did some things with the group yesterday.

"Milos is young, energetic and I know that he will push and if he has a chance, he'll try to take it.

"I hope he has good sensations today. He's been out for some weeks so I don't know his fitness level because its not the same training alone as it is training with the group but at least we know we can use him if we need."

Iraola also revealed that he'll make a late call on the availability of Antoine Semenyo, who is travelling back from the Africa Cup of Nations.

The attacker played all three games for Ghana in the competition but his nation were unfortunately eliminated at the group stage.

He explained: "It's obviously bad news for him [that Ghana were eliminated} because he wanted to go through to the next round and they had a really good team.

"He's travelling right now and he's arriving tomorrow morning, so it's going to be difficult for him, but I will try and talk to him and maybe he can be on the bench. It will be difficult because he's spent the night travelling."
