Injury News: Aarons edges closer to return

AFC Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola has revealed that Max Aarons is back outside training on his own.

Aarons picked up an injury in the 2-0 win over Newcastle United and has been working hard on his recovery since then.

The full-back has been in impressive form since signing from Norwich City in the summer, and the boss is hopeful to have him back in the next few weeks.

“Max is now training outside and we hope that he will recover well,” he said.

“There is no chance he will be available for tomorrow, it will be difficult for next weekend as well but hopefully he’ll be back the week after.”

Iraola also provided updates on Hames Traorè and Lloyd Kelly, adding: “I think we’ll have the same players in the squad as midweek.

“Junior Traorè is ill with a temperature and won’t be involved, and neither will Lloyd Kelly as he’s still not close.”
