Eddie Howe has shared his thoughts following a dramatic 2-1 win over Everton at Vitality Stadium.
Ryan Fraser opened the scoring in the first half, slotting home from close range. It was then Oumar Niasse who levelled things up after the break, before Wee Man was on hand to give the Cherries all three points just two minutes from time.
After the game, a delighted Cherries boss gave his verdict on the win and touched on the following points.
On the performance…
There was more drama again today. The last two games really have been incredible with twists and turns, but there’s been really good performances under there.
We make it difficult for ourselves and that’s where true character comes though. A goal for them could’ve easily changed the momentum and that could’ve played games with us. We were strong at the end of the game and that was pleasing.
On Ryan Fraser…
I’m so pleased for Ryan and he’s showing what a good player he really is. He’s a great lad and, from his days at Aberdeen, it’s been a long way for him to get here development wise.
The level of the game technically was very high and it shows how well he coped with it and how capable he is. He’s really showing what he can do.
On injuries…
Josh [King] looks like a hamstring pull so we’ve had to make changes again, but the team performance was still there and it didn’t affect us.
We’ll assess the likes of Adam Smith and Nathan Ake who were feeling tight at the end.
On the league…
We’re well aware of how tight the league table was and is. Two good results and everything changes and two bad results it changes the other way.
You need results and I’ll always try and be honest. I’m pleased to say we’ve won and played well, that’s the best combination that a manager can say.
