Howe on Hammers draw

Eddie Howe gestures in thanks to the travelling fans at West Ham United.

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe was left with mixed emotions after the 1-1 draw with West Ham United.

Ryan Fraser scored a beautifully crafted goal to open the scoring, but just 63 seconds later, Chicharito had found an equaliser for the hosts.

The manager reflected on the display in his post-match press conference and spoke about...

EXTENDING THE UNBEATEN RUN TO FIVE IN THE LEAGUE...

We're on a good run at the moment, unbeaten runs are difficult in the Premier League, we know that.

It was a tough game, particularly with West Ham in very good form. It was a tight game and we're disappointed that we took the lead as you back yourself to win from that position.

ON THE GOALS...

We grew into the game, I thought we were slow out the traps but it wasn't a great start from us and we did well not to concede.

We scored a great goal, a really well worked goal but the big disappointment for us was not to win.

It's frustration as we'd done so well up the other end, then the nature of their goal was hugely disappointing, we didn't attack the ball well enough.

ON RYAN FRASER'S RECENT DISPLAYS...

Well, I urge all of my players to add goals to their game.

Ryan has been outstanding for us, he's hitting the net regularly and for attacking players that is massive.

I'm delighted with him, he's in great form.
