AFC Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has joined Cardiff City on a season-long loan.
Arter, who made 16 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions last season, has headed across the Severn Bridge to link up with Neil Warnock’s newly-promoted side.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made a total of 255 appearances for Bournemouth in an eight-year spell on the south coast, winning promotion from League One and the Championship during that time.
Under the terms of the loan agreement, Arter will not be eligible for selection when AFC Bournemouth host Cardiff at Vitality Stadium on Saturday, or any other meeting between the clubs in the 2018/19 campaign.
