Gosling goal nominated for Premier League award

Dan Gosling’s opener against Southampton has been nominated for the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for April.

The midfielder popped up with a low strike as the Cherries were a goal down at St. Mary’s, with the game eventually finishing 3-3.

Gosling, who netted for the second time this month at the weekend, finished off a wonderful team move, which came about following a series of five passes starting in his side’s 18-yard box.

The 29-year-old is up for the accolade alongside Will Hughes, Eden Hazard, Mo Salah, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Gonzalo Higuain, Christian Eriksen and Ryan Babel.

Voting is now open and supporters can cast their vote for Gosling by clicking here.

The winner will be announced on Tuesday 7th May, with voting closing this Thursday.
