Joshua King netted twice as a strong second-half performance meant AFC Bournemouth were convincing winners over a spirited Oldham Athletic.

Jason Tindall made ten changes from the side that were 1-0 winners at Stoke City, with goalkeeper Will Dennis coming in for his full debut for the Cherries.

There was also a Cherries debut for Cameron Carter-Vickers who returned from injury alongside Jack Stacey.

Gavin Kilkenny and Jordan Zemura also started to highlight their progress from the Cherries’ academy.

David Brooks and Rodrigo Riquelme were on target in the tie that was originally scheduled to be played at the Latics’ Boundary Park.
