Gallery: Spirited second-half almost yields point

AFC Bournemouth almost took a point from Emirates Stadium, despite creating second-half chances the Cherries were unfortunate not to take a share of the spoils against Arsenal.

David Luiz scored after nine minutes, giving the hosts the crucial opening goal.

Ten of David Luiz's 12 Premier League goals have come on home turf, but the Cherries almost had an equaliser in the capital when Callum Wilson went through on goal five minutes after the half-time whistle, but just couldn't find the net.

Despite a much-improved second-half, which saw Jack Stacey force a save from Bernd Leno, Arsenal secured their 14th win of their last 17 home matches, leaving the Cherries looking ahead to Norwich City after the international break.

Above are a selection of images from London as Eddie Howe's men have positives to take from their duel with the Gunners.
