Antoine Semenyo has been out and about in the community during the off-season, helping coach and meet youngsters on the island of Gozo.

The forward has appeared for the Cherries on 36 occasions in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals as the side achieved a record-points total in the Premier League.

With the season ending at Stamford Bridge three weeks ago, Semenyo travelled with his brother Jai to join the Gozo youth team on the Maltese island.

The pair enjoyed a light kick-around, ran drills and spent some quality time with the aspiring young athletes, who were provided with an AFC Bournemouth t-shirt to mark the occasion.

Semenyo’s visit also provided the opportunity to connect with the local football community, including Gozo FA’s Player of the Year Steve Sultana.

The 24 year-old has since linked up with the Ghana national team for their World Cup qualifiers.

Otto Addo’s side beat Mali thanks to a last-minute winner from Jordan Ayew on Thursday evening, while they take on the Central African Republic on Monday.
