Gallery: Pictures in the rain from Wolves

AFC Bournemouth were defeated by Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 in a disappointing display in the Midlands.

In the driving rain, Diogo Jota capitalised on a defensive error to tee up Raul Jimenez for the opener which came against the run of play early on.

Junior Stanislas went the closest for the Cherries, hitting the bar with a superbly struck free-kick in the second half.

As the away side piled men forward in the hunt for an equaliser, Ivan Cavelerio netted a breakaway second for Wolves.

Eddie Howe was left disappointed not just with the result, but with the injury to Tyrone Mings who left the field in discomfort in the first half clutching his back. You can read what the manager had to say here.

The photographers battled the wind, rain and cold in order to photograph the game and here is a gallery of images from Molineux which saw Wolves beat the Cherries for the first time since 1989.
