Scott Parker today met the squad and took his first session with the group, who returned for pre-season at Vitality Stadium.
A series of fitness tests took place in the gym, before the players then made their way onto the training pitches for a timed run.
Parker and his team oversaw the session, alongside the likes of Gary O'Neil, Steve Fletcher and Gareth Stewart.
Injured duo Lewis Cook and Steve Cook partook in the gym tests, while they were then on hand to help time the outfield run.
Also involved were youngsters Brooklyn Genesini, Ben Greenwood and Zeno Ibsen Rossi, who all form part of Shaun Cooper's under-21 squad.
