Gallery: Ouattara becomes Cherries player

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Dango Ouattara became AFC Bournemouth's first January signing after putting pen to paper at Vitality Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

The 20-year-old has been grabbing headlines in France, after netting six goals and bagging six assists in 18 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, leaving Lorient in seventh place.

Ouattara made his international debut for Burkina Faso in December 2021, playing in a friendly against Mauritania.

He then scored his first goal for his country just two months ago, bagging the only strike in a 1-0 win over Tunisia in the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
