Supersub Arnaut Danjuma came off the bench to fire AFC Bournemouth to second place in the Championship.
Danjuma, a 75th-minute replacement for Junior Stanislas, grabbed the only goal as the Cherries defeated fellow high-fliers Bristol City at Vitality Stadium.
The Netherlands international bagged his third goal of the season with a sublime finish nine minutes from time to settle the contest in favour of the hosts.
While City had the better of the first half, the tables were turned after the break when Jason Tindall’s team dominated.
They kept a third successive clean sheet at home and moved into second place, six points behind leaders Reading ahead of the visit of Derby County on Saturday.
