Gallery: Action from 1-1 draw at Cardiff City Stadium

Ex-AFC Bournemouth loanee Harry Wilson returned to haunt his former club by scoring a second-half equaliser as the Cherries drew 1-1 with Cardiff City on Wednesday night.

Wilson struck to cancel out Dominic Solanke’s 35th-minute opener for the Cherries who maintained their unbeaten start to the Championship season at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Only a top-drawer save from Bluebirds goalkeeper Alex Smithies from Solanke prevented the Cherries from going 2-0 ahead early in the second half.

And Wilson profited just five minutes later when he netted the leveller, the Cherries going on to hit the crossbar through Junior Stanislas’s free-kick.

Solanke opened the scoring for the Cherries when he applied the finishing touch to a brilliant move in the 35th minute.

He was picked out by Jack Stacey's pinpoint cross after Jefferson Lerma's pass had split the Cardiff defence.
