AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

Arnaut Danjuma bagged his fourth goal in five games to put the finishing touches to an excellent display from AFC Bournemouth against fellow promotion hopefuls Swansea City.

Danjuma was also in the thick of the action as Philip Billing drew first blood for the Cherries with a spectacular volley which paved the way for victory after just nine minutes.

The Denmark international showed great technique as he acrobatically hooked Danjuma’s cross home from eight yards, Billing registering his fourth goal of the season in fine style.

Swansea arrived at Vitality Stadium boasting one of the best defensive records in the Championship but found themselves trailing 2-0 at the interval.

Luckless visiting defender Joel Latibeaudiere was credited with an own goal after Dominic Solanke’s glancing header from a Danjuma corner had struck him before nestling in the back of the net.

Freddie Woodman made a fine save to keep out a firm header from Cameron Carter-Vickers and Asmir Begovic twice thwarted Swansea substitute Morgan Whittaker.

Danjuma deservedly had the final say when he finished with aplomb after being teed up by Billing in the closing stages.
