Cherries pair Joshua King and Callum Wilson are both in the running for two of the Premier League’s monthly awards.

After some impressive form in front of goal, King has been nominated for the Premier League EA SPORTS Player of the Month for January.

King has scored three goals and provided one assist in four appearances throughout January and is one of six players in contention for the award.

Tom Heaton, Alexandre Lacazette, Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford and James Ward-Prowse are the other players nominated for the award.

Meanwhile, Wilson’s sensational volleyed goal against West Ham United at the Vitality Stadium has been nominated for the Premier League’s Carling Goal of the Month award.

The goal is one of eight in contention to win the award.

The winners of the awards will be revealed on Friday 8th February, with a combination of public vote and a panel of experts deciding the respective winners.
