Defensive duo Simon Francis and Lloyd Kelly will both step up their respective returns from injury by featuring in AFC Bournemouth’s Hampshire Senior Cup clash against Basingstoke tonight.

Skipper Francis and summer recruit Kelly are set to play some part in the second-round encounter with the Southern League South outfit at Vitality Stadium (7.45pm kick-off).

Francis has been sidelined for almost nine months since rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Cherries’ Premier League defeat by Tottenham on Boxing Day.

And Kelly, who signed from Bristol City in May, has been out for seven weeks after sustaining an ankle injury in training at the end of July.

England under-21 international Kelly was involved in pre-season friendlies against AFC Wimbledon, Girona and West Brom but has yet to feature in the Premier League.

afcbTV will be live streaming the game which is COMPLETELY FREE with your free afcbTV account. The stream will start at approximately 7.40pm live from Vitality Stadium.
