Lewis Cook made his injury comeback as AFC Bournemouth were 6-1 winners in a behind closed doors friendly match with QPR under-21s at the training ground.
Cook played 60 minutes and came off as planned in the victory that also saw Jordon Ibe score a hat-trick.
Jordon's first-half treble was accompanied by two clinical Dominic Solanke finishes and an Andrew Surman strike in a comprehensive victory.
The Cherries started a strong starting XI, including Philip Billing who returned from international duty as well as Steve Cook at centre-back.
And they had the lead after six minutes, with Lewis Cook making his stamp on the game early on.
He showed his sharpness and won the ball high up the pitch before firing a superb pass into Jordon's feet, and the winger matched the standard of the pass with a brilliant curling finish right into the top corner.
Diego Rico then hit the post before the second goal came after 24 minutes. Rico was key to the move with a low cross to Jordon, his effort was well saved but Surman was on hand to slot the ball in after picking up a good position at the back post.
Two minutes before the half-hour mark, QPR were given a huge slice of fortune thanks to an own goal, but that didn't alter the flow of the game as the Cherries had a third eight minutes later.
Jordon drove clean through on goal, nutmegging a defender in the penalty area, to dispatch the ball into the net for his second.
And his first-half hat-trick was complete three minutes before half-time as he went through one-on-one once again, this time the 'keeper got a hand to his effort but looped into the net.
In the second-half, Jordon was key in providing his forward partner Solanke with a goal after 49 minutes.
The midfielder released Solanke with a clever ball and the striker composed himself to finish clinically in the area.
Two minutes later Solanke had a second and it was another excellent finish - this time it was Surman with a precise ball over the top, and the England international showed great calmness with a defender on his shoulder, shrugging him off and rounding the goalkeeper to slot into an empty net.
Solanke's two finishes - which he made look easy - were the last of the goals, with the first-team players all replaced by under-21s players on the hour mark.
That included Lewis Cook who not only looked sharp throughout, but also came through a robust 50/50 tackle in the first-half unscathed.
