Lewis Cook and Aaron Ramsdale have been named in the England Under-21 squad for the upcoming 2018 Toulon Tournament.

The annual competition will take place across the region of Provence, France, with head coach Aidy Boothroyd naming a 20-man squad.

Cook, who is also on standby for the senior England squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup this summer, has been named in the travelling party alongside Ramsdale, who ended the most recent season on loan at Chesterfield.

The Young Lions are the current holders of the competition, after triumphing in the 12-team competition last summer.

England’s opening game of the tournament takes place against China (Saturday 26th May), before further group games against Mexico (Monday 29th May) and Qatar (Friday 1st June) follow.
