Victory over Crystal Palace would see AFC Bournemouth face Manchester City in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Thursday 24th September.

Should Jason Tindall’s team overcome the Eagles at Vitality Stadium on Tuesday, they would meet the holders at the Etihad Stadium (7.45pm kick-off).

This would also mean the Cherries’ Championship clash against Norwich City, scheduled for Friday 25th September, would be moved to Sunday 27th September.

Should it have to be switched, a kick-off time for the visit of the Canaries is still to be confirmed but the game would no longer be televised by Sky Sports.
