AFC Bournemouth will face Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest as part of their pre-season programme.
The fixture is the first confirmed date in the club’s schedule ahead of the new 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
Eddie Howe’s side will travel to the City Ground to face Forest on Saturday 28th July, with a 3pm kick-off scheduled.
The two clubs last faced each other back in the 2014/15 Championship campaign, as Forest emerged 2-1 winners thanks to goals for Jamaal Lascelles and Henri Lansbury, cancelling out Andrew Surman’s early goal.
Last season, Aitor Karanka’s side finished 17th in English football’s second division, with Kieran Dowell their top scorer after netting ten in all competitions.
Ticketing and admission details for the game, plus further pre-season fixtures, will be announced in due course.
