AFC Bournemouth
AFC Bournemouth will take on La Liga side Real Sociedad in a pre-season friendly at Vitality Stadium.
The Spanish side will visit Dorset on Saturday 30th July for a 3pm kick-off. Ticket details will be confirmed in due course.
Imanol Alguacil’s side finished in sixth position in La Liga last season, earning a Europa League qualification spot.
The match will see the return of former Cherries defender Diego Rico to Vitality Stadium.
The left-back made 84 appearances for the club between 2018 and 2021 and went on to play 26 games for Sociedad in his maiden season with the club in 2021/22.
Real Sociedad will travel to the south coast boasting the likes of Premier League legend David Silva, Swedish international Alexander Isak and Spanish maestro Mikel Oyarzabal in their squad.
