AFC Bournemouth have been handed an away tie against Newcastle United in round four of the Carabao Cup.

Tuesday night saw the Cherries defeat Everton by a 4-1 scoreline at Vitality Stadium, with goals coming from Jamal Lowe, Junior Stanislas, Emiliano Marcondes and Jaidon Anthony.

The win came after the side kick-started their cup run with a penalty shootout win over Norwich City back in August, as a late leveller from Brooklyn Genesini ensured the game went the distance.

As for Newcastle, they defeated Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening, having defeated Crystal Palace 3-2 on penalties.

The fourth round tie will take place on the week commencing Monday 19th December in what will be the first game following the World Cup break. Ticket details will be released in due course.
