Career in photos: Emiliano Marcondes

Emiliano Marcondes became Scott Parker's first Cherries signing when he put pen to paper at Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

The Dane becomes the first addition to the Cherries squad this summer, as pre-season is well underway ahead of the 2021/22 Championship campaign.

Supporters may well recognise the attacking midfielder, who played against the club in all four of our fixtures with Brentford last term.

His contribution to the Bees' 2-0 win over Swansea in May's play-off final, scoring their second at Wembley Stadium, saw him win Man of the Match that day, while he also featured on 39 other occasions for Thomas Frank's side last term.

The 26 year old first arrived in England in 2018, with four years of senior football experience at FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark.

His 29 goals in 112 league appearances, as well as international appearances for Denmark's youth age groups, made for an impressive CV and caught the eye of scouts in west London ahead of the move.

Having played in England for the last three years, aside from a brief loan spell with FC Midtjylland, Marcondes is an established Championship.
