Brooks assists and Christie celebrates in Sunday's action

David Brooks played a key role as Wales kept their UEFA EURO 2024 hopes alive in a famous win over Croatia.

Requiring a win, former Cherries winger Harry Wilson netted a brace to secure the victory, with Croatia netting a consolation goal via Mario Pašalić.

Brooks played his part with an instinctive assist for Wilson's opener, with a defence-splitting through ball.

The winger started alongside Cherries teammates Chris Mepham and Kieffer Moore, both of whom played for the full 90 minutes.

Ryan Christie was celebrating on Sunday, despite his Scotland team not being in action.

Spain's victory over Norway confirmed UEFA EURO 2024 qualification for the Tartan Army, with Christie now having the chance to feature in the second major international tournament of his career.

Scotland have qualified from the group with two games remaining, a huge achievement for Christie and his teammates.
