Hamed Traorè came off the bench to score a brace as Ivory Coast began their World Cup qualifiers in style.
The midfielder's side took on Seychelles in game one of the qualification stage and thrashed their opponents 9-0.
Traorè came on in the 63rd minute and had his first goal with 13 minutes remaining, slotting home from the edge of the box to get Ivory Coast's sixth goal.
He was gifted his second, receiving a poor goal kick from Seychelles' goalkeeper and keeping his cool to find the back of the net.
The goals were Traorè's first goals for his country, having earned his sixth cap.
Dango Ouattara also kickstarted his World Cup qualification stage but his Burkina Faso was frustrated by a dogged Guinea-Bissau side.
Ouattara had forced an excellent save in the opening moments of the game but their opponents took a surprise lead through Manuel Baldé in the 20th minute.
A fine solo goal by Aston Villa's Bertrand Traoré levelled the scores but despite Ouattara's best efforts, they were unable to find a winner in front of a near-empty stadium in Marrakesh, Tunisia.
Ghana and Antoine Semenyo celebrated a last-gasp winner in their World Cup qualifier with Madagascar.
Semenyo started the game as a striker but was substituted after 73 minutes with Ghana ruing a number of missed chances across the team.
Despite being heavy favourites, it appeared that the win would evade them but Iñaki Williams powered home a header in the 96th minute to earn the three points in dramatic fashion.
