Goalkeeper Artur Boruc has won the public vote and has been crowned the 2016/17 Supporters’ Player of the Year.

The 37-year-old has been in great form this campaign, making a number or crucial stops to earn the Cherries some valuable points on the way to securing top flight survival.

He has missed just two league games this season, keeping nine clean sheets along the way as well as winning three Michael Matthews player of the month awards throughout the campaign.

The former Poland international has had plenty of highlights, none more so than his fabulous display at Old Trafford where he kept Manchester United at bay before saving a Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty.

Boruc also recently triggered an appearance clause in his contract, meaning he will remain with the club until summer 2018.

He will be presented with his award in front of the supporters at Vitality Stadium before kick off against Burnley.
