Nathan Ake has claimed the club’s Michael Matthews Player of the Month award for August.
The Netherlands international featured in every minute of Premier League for the Cherries throughout what proved to be a frustrating month.
Ake pipped Charlie Daniels to the award, claiming 38 percent of the votes following a public poll on the club’s official Twitter page.
Daniels came in second place with 36 percent of the vote, with Asmir Begovic and Tyrone Mings tied for third spot with 13 percent.
The defender will be presented with his award by sponsors Michael Matthews ahead of the upcoming Premier League game against Brighton & Hove Albion at Vitality Stadium.
