AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Adam Federici has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

The Australian international featured 12 times in the Cherries' debut top flight campaign after signing from Championship outfit Reading last summer.

31-year-old Federici also has 15 caps for the Socceroos, with his most recent international appearance coming in a friendly against Greece earlier this month.

AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said: "Adam is a vastly experienced goalkeeper with both Premier League and international experience and we’re pleased to keep him with the club as we embark on our second Premier League season.

"Adam has been a consummate professional during his time here and we’re delighted to have secured his long term future with the club."
