A bumper selection of pictures from record-breaking win at Stoke

Scott Parker's class of 2021/22 penned a new chapter in the AFC Bournemouth record books after triumphing 1-0 against Stoke City.

Dominic Solanke bagged his ninth goal of the season to help the Cherries open a six-point gap over second-placed West Brom at the top of the Championship.

Parker's team also kept a sixth successive away clean sheet in the league to set a new club record.

The previous best of five was set by Ken Bird in 1947/48 and matched by Ryan Allsop in 2012/13, the Cherries going on to finish second on both occasions.

Solanke settled a tight affair in favour of the visitors when he pounced on an error by Adam Davies, the Stoke goalkeeper having spilled Ryan Christie's shot six minutes into the second half.

In a game of few chances, both teams hit the woodwork, Jordan Thompson striking the post soon after Solanke had scored and the Cherries striker later seeing his rasping effort come crashing back off the crossbar.
