Story of the Season: Best images of 2018/19

AFC Bournemouth AFC Bournemouth

As a fourth season in the Premier League comes to a close, there's plenty to look back on after another memorable campaign.

The Cherries ended 2018/19 on a respectable 45 points, just one off their best ever Premier League total, going on to finish 14th in the table.

In English football's top flight alone, 13 wins were accumulated, more than any other season, and Eddie Howe's side also reached the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, eventually losing out to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Individually, Ryan Fraser finished second to Eden Hazard, also of the Blues, in the assist chart, and combined with top-scorer Callum Wilson for a total of 12 goals, more than any other duo across the campaign.

With 65 goals scored, there were plenty of highlights, with the best of those documented in our gallery of celebration images above.
