What does Dango Ouattara mean to Burkina Faso?

Savadogo Daouda - Dango Ouattara is the future! He is really talented. He’s very famous, his hard work and will to win is incredible. I personally see him as the next generation of African football. Hard work and teamwork is his name.

El Cheicky Fdp – It’s lucky I like my current president otherwise, from my point of view, he could be appointed president. We love him like a brother because he makes us proud.

Ouewouyigani Valentin Naguia- Since the last Africa Cup of Nations and his successful breakthrough in Ligue 1, Dango has become increasingly famous. Since his transfer to England, he has become one of the most famous and most expensive Burkina players in the country.

David Nikiema - The whole country is proud of him because already being an ambassador of the country, he will make the country better known on the sporting level and on a global scale.


How proud is Burkina Faso of Dango?

Alexis Samson Sampébré - The whole country is highly proud of him. When we see him playing, we see him waving our flag.

Mashouda Tarama- Naturally, I am overjoyed to see my fellow citizen Dango Ouattara representing the Cherries. That's why I immediately followed [the Facebook page] the minute after the news reached me. I hope that he will do all he can to help the Cherries achieve their goals.

Yero Malbila - Dango means the hope of Burkinabè and world football. He is considered to be Africa's future big star, future African Golden Ball and Premier League top scorer and assists maker.

Ousmanel YO - I'm proud of Ouattara because he's a Burkinabè who carries the country's flag high and proud!


What is football like in Burkina Faso?

Oumarou Koala - Football is the most popular sport in Burkina Faso. Everywhere -in villages, big cities and in schools - young people are interested in it. Our national team is called The Stallions. The national team is ranked tenth on the African level.

Abdoulaye K. Sanou - The Premier League is the most followed championship in Burkina Faso. Every week we watch the different games and we also follow the performances of all African stars, especially those from Burkina Faso: Bertrand Traoré and Dango Ouattara.
